Feline lashes like Femme Fatale®, Tigress®, and Purrr® are designed with a flared, lifted cat-eye shape. That shape depends on the band and the fibers staying in their original curve. If you pull or twist them during removal or cleaning, you can flatten the curl or stretch the band, so the lashes no longer sit as intended.
The Jelly Band® is flexible, but it is not indestructible. Using oil-based makeup removers can break down the adhesive and the fibers over time. Sticking with a gentle, oil-free cleanser keeps the band tacky and the fibers soft, which is the key to getting more wears from each pair.
Step-by-step feline lash care routine
- Remove gently: Hold the outer corner of the lash band and peel it off slowly from the outer edge toward the inner corner. Never tug or pull the fibers. Checkpoint: If the band resists, apply a warm compress for a few seconds to loosen the adhesive—never yank.
- Clean with oil-free remover: Dip a cotton swab or pad in an oil-free makeup remover and gently wipe along the band and through the lashes from base to tip. Avoid soaking the lashes. Checkpoint: If you see makeup residue after the first pass, repeat with a fresh swab—don't rub harder.
- Brush and reshape: Use a clean spoolie to brush through the lashes from the base to the tips, separating any clumped fibers.
